The World Travel Market (WTM) Africa 2023, the leading travel and tourism event in Africa, has officially opened its doors on 03 April 2023, today in Cape Town, South Africa. In addition to the Shokomokwa borehole that was drilled in October 2022, Okavango Wilderness Safaris has installed a further six boreholes at five villages around its areas of operation in the north-west of the country. “Our borehole project is progressing very well, and the six new boreholes were successfully drilled and all are producing good water yields”, noted Moalosi Lebekwe, Okavango Wilderness Safaris Stakeholder Manager.
