In a significant stride towards fostering a culture of learning and innovation, Orange Botswana in partnership with Conexus (Pty) Ltd hosted the Atlega Educational Fair at The Fields Mall in Gaborone. This collaboration underscored Orange Botswana’s commitment to advancing education in Botswana, particularly through the integration of e-learning solutions. The fair, which recently took place, successfully inspired and engaged students by blending education with fun and interactive activities.

The Atlega Educational Fair provided students from Standard 1 to Form 5 with an enriching learning experience to incorporate in their upcoming school holidays. The event featured a variety of educational activities, including quizzes, practice tests, and opportunities to win exciting prizes, all while learning about the innovative Atlega Mobile Education platform. It was also an interactive session, with students actively participating and expressing keen interest in the potential of e-learning to enhance their educational journey.

“At Orange Botswana, we believe in the power of education to transform lives. Our partnership with Atlegafor the Educational Fair is a testament to our commitment to providing students with the tools they need to succeed, both in and out of the classroom,” said Basetsana Dikobe, Digital & Mobile-for-Development Coordinator at Orange Botswana.

Atlega Mobile Education, a groundbreaking mobile learning service, offers students flexible access to Botswana’s curriculum-based learning material. The platform supports students in supplementing their classroom education with additional resources that reinforce their knowledge and skills. Available on any mobile phone connected to the Orange network, Atlegaprovides a convenient way for students to stay academically active, even outside of school hours.

“E-learning is the future, and with Atlega Mobile Education, we are bringing that future to students across Botswana. This platform offers an innovative way to keep students engaged and academically active, even during the holidays,” added  Basetsana Dikobe, Digital & Mobile-for-Development Coordinator at Orange Botswana.

Through Atlega Mobile Education, students engaged in a range of learning activities, including revision materials, tests, exams, and pop quizzes. One of the standout features of the platform is the “Ask a Tutor” section, where students can receive assistance on challenging topics. The platform also offers real-time feedback, allowing students to track their progress, understand their strengths, and identify areas for improvement.

“Through initiatives like the Atlega Educational Fair, we aim to inspire students to explore their potential and make wise choices that will shape their futures. Education should be both meaningful and enjoyable, and we are proud to be part of this journey,” concluded  BasetsanaDikobe, Digital & Mobile-for-Development Coordinator at Orange Botswana.

Orange Botswana’s partnership with Atlega for this educational fair reflects the company’s dedication to supporting education and empowering students across the nation. By making learning accessible, engaging, and fun, Orange Botswana and Atlega are helping students make wise choices, resist negative influences, and remain academically motivated throughout their educational journey.

The Atlega Educational Fair was more than just an event; it was a celebration of the potential of e-learning to transform education in Botswana. With Orange Botswana’s support, the fair provided a valuable and enjoyable experience for all participants, encouraging a new generation of learners to embrace the possibilities of digital education.
