The recently launched Stargems Diamond Training Center has received positive feedback from locals, who believe that the center will bolster the country’s diamond industry. Botswana’s celebrated 800m runner Nijel Amos (29) has broken his silence following the three year doping ban that was announced last week by Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU). In a press conference in the capital Gaborone at Protea Hotel Masa Square, the remorseful Amos broke down events leading to his first alleged positive test. Gaborone, Botswana, 03 May 2023/ – PPC Botswana has partnered with the Pilane community to build a block of three classrooms to address the acute shortage of classrooms at Pilane Primary School in Kgatleng district. The donation includes a P100,000 worth of cement. The shortage of classrooms has resulted in some pupils being taught outside and in corridors, while others were put on a shift system.
