The 2nd edition of the Express Yourself Fashion Gala, hosted by Collections by BK Proctor, dazzled attendees at the Gaborone International Conference Centre (GICC) on Saturday 7 December 2024 night. The highly anticipated do conspicuously impression on fashion enthusiasts and cementing its place as a cornerstone of Botswana’s showbiz scene.

The gala was hosted by radio personalities, Loungo Andre Pitse, Oratile Kefitlhile and Badboy Brando. It showcased a series of breathtaking collections, including The Formal Expressive Set Collection, The Palette of Expression Collection, The Pride Collection, and The Shining Horizon Collection. Each lineup displayed designs that seamlessly blended international flair with Botswana’s rich cultural heritage, captivating the audience with their creativity and craftsmanship. Models graced the runway with confidence, breathing life into each design, and drawing resounding applause from the crowd.

Speaking about the significance of the show, BK Proctor, Creative Director of Collections by BK Proctor, said, “this event is more than just a fashion gala; it’s a platform to export Botswana’s culture and heritage to the world through the universal language of fashion. Every piece tells a story of our pride and identity as a nation.”

This year’s production was a significant leap forward from the inaugural edition held last year, delivering a grander, more polished experience. The event attracted a diverse crowd, including local fashion aficionados and international guests, further elevating its status on the global fashion stage.

Adding to the night’s allure were stellar musical performances by an eclectic lineup of artists, including Samantha Mogwe, Priscilla K, Ban-T, Veezo View, Chef Gustos, and the charismatic Oneal Africa. Their electrifying sets kept the audience entertained and the energy levels soaring throughout the evening.

Expressing gratitude for the brand’s growing success, BK Proctor shared heartfelt thanks:
