Gugu’s Big Brother Mzansi journey comes to an end

Another Sunday night has passed and in true Big Brother style, Smash Afrika was on a top-secret mission. Looking sharp in his suit, he strolled into the house for some “casual” chats before dropping the hammer on one housemate. Sunday night,  Gugu became the fourth housemate to exit Big Brother’s Umlilo season.
Standing alongside Mata (who took Swiss’s place thanks to Ezra’s HoH decision),  Nsuku and  Uyanda , she faced the dreaded moment.

Sadly, her journey in Biggie’s came to an end. But plot twist! Gugu wasn’t shocked by her eviction. She saw it coming in a dream where Smash Afrika told her to leave the house. She even shared this with some of the housemates beforehand. Let’s not forget the tea she spilled on her way out! She reckons most of the guys in the house (except for  Abobo  and  Beekay ) are snakes. For her, they go around pushing brotherhood, but they are sinister characters. One thing she’s sure of? Is her friendships with  Philile  and Siphesihle, who both broke down when her name was announced.

Gugu, however, is ready for the outside world. She told Smash Afrika that her prophetic training is complete, and she’s prepared to help people “all day, every day”. She also mentioned that she is coming out of the house hopeful about life and what’s in store for her saying, “Rock bottom is a trampoline, and I definitely stepped on a trampoline and the only way I’m going is higher.” Talk about a drop mic exit liner!
Meanwhile, Smash Afrika wasn’t holding back either! He had some words for Ezra and his HoH reign, telling him straight up that he was “treating housemates like lambs on your farm.” Ouch! Ezra’s reign saw food wars, secret stashes, and endless power trips. A legendary HoH or just pure chaos? The jury’s still out.

Philile also got a moment in the hot seat. When asked why there’s so much drama in the house, she insisted she’s never involved. Smash advised her to stop being a spectator and actually get in the mix, but it looks like Philile is all about that peaceful life. Abobo also kept giving warnings regarding respect. “Kuyaqhelwana apha in this house” (people are disrespectful in this house), adding that some housemates need to learn who they’re messing with.

And then there’s Nate aka Nate the Kisser! Smash Afrika got her to list all the housemates she’s locked lips with, and let’s just say, it’s a growing collection. So far, she’s kissed  Jojo ,  Mshini  (who gave her a solid review, calling her a good kisser), and Mandy Hagan. But despite all the lip service, she insists she’s not romantically interested in anyone in the house. “I’m just playing,” she said. Hmm… wonder if that list will expand this week? With Gugu now out, she joins Bonni Bee and Savage (evicted last week) and Kay B
(disqualified). That leaves 20 housemates still in the game. Who’s next on Biggie’s chopping block? Only time will tell!

Voting window opens from Mondays after the nominations and closes by 21:00 on Thursday (CAT). You can vote on Mzansi Magic web and mobi site by selecting housemates of your choice and entering your number of votes. Voting via these platforms is limited to 100 votes per user.
