The first of its kind, an art jamboree dubbed Maun Art Jam is expected to bring atleast 100 art enthusiasts under one roof at the Luxury Wild Inn on 28th September 2024 to celebrate artistry and craftsmanship.
Curated by Gofiwa Basima, an experienced travel and hospitality expert, who draws her inspiration from her travels, describes art as a form of communication & expression. Basima acknowledges that despite Maun’s prominence in tourism industry , art culture is not given much attention hence her enthusiasm to curate the art jam to kickstart many different ways to involve artists prowess in the region to showcase their craftsmanship. Art jam according to Basima is, “a platform for professional and aspiring artists as well as the general public to unleash their imagination and explore their creative senses. Everyone is welcome; friends, families and professional teams.”
“We have curated an exciting event that will see all attendees get to paint on canvas while wining; bringing two forms of art together in a free and relaxing environment.
“We are in advanced talks with artists and wine experts to have mini demonstrations for the attendees but it is our goal that everyone be wild in their imagination, as opposed to feeling restricted.”
The attendees will all give their amateurism attempts to paint what comes to their imagination.
Tickets are selling at P350 for adults and P150 for the kiddies; this covers painting material, wine tasting and snacks.
