The Department of Broadcasting Services (DBS) have on Tuesday, 11th October 2022, left a lasting legacy in Shakawe by repainting the Mohembo Primary School.
Led by renowned DJ Fresh and some prominent DBS radio personalities such as on air presenter, Neo Lenkopane – Ramolale, music compiler, Tiroyaone Ramadi – the crew has earlier held a successful Creatives Capacity Building Workshop in Shakawe at Atoma Guest Lodge to a full capacity of the creatives in the localities.

To the glare of the village leadership, Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and teachers, the crew was hands on in changing the exterior look of the school. Some of the painting materials were donated to the school.
The Mohembo Primary School is one of the highest-ranked academic schools in the Western region with excellent academics, leadership, sports, and culture.
Affordable Mohembo Primary School fees and easy registration forms made it gained a well-known reputation.
