Taazima Kala, General Manager & Chief Consultant of Hotwire, has been named among the distinguished winners of the PRO PR Globe People Achievement Award for 2024. The honour recognises exceptional contributions to the field of communications.

Now in its 13th year, the PRO PR Globe People Achievement Awards celebrate the achievements of renowned communication professionals from across the globe. This year’s awards ceremony will be held on 4 April 2025 at the Katarina Hotel in Selce, Crikvenica Riviera, Croatia.

Since 2019, the PRO PR Globe People Achievement Awards is the only award program in which the winners are nominated by four world communication associations: International Public Relations Association (IPRA), International Communication Consultancy Organization (ICCO), Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) and Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).

The PRO PR Globe People Achievement Awards underscore the importance of fostering professional excellence in public relations and communication management. This year’s winners include leaders from countries such as the United States, Kenya, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Sweden, showcasing a diverse and dynamic representation of the global communications landscape.

Taazima joins an illustrious list of global communications leaders recognised for their innovative approaches and impactful contributions to the industry. She is the only recipient from the SADC region. Other notable award recipients include Gilbert Manirakiza, CEO of The Newmark Group (Kenya); Johna Burke, Executive Director of AMEC (USA); Fabio Ventoruzzo, Director of Corporate Communications and Sustainability at SISAL (Italy); and Jonas Pertoft, President of the Swedish Association for Relations with the Public (Sweden).
