Chevron, Astron Energy extend existing Caltex usage rights and debrand agreement for Botswana until December 2028

Chevron Africa-Pakistan Services (Pty) Ltd (“Chevron”) and Astron Energy Botswana Proprietary Limited (“Astron Energy Botswana”) have entered an agreement to extend the existing Caltex Usage Rights and Debrand Agreements (URDA) for Botswana until 31 December 2028. Chevron remains committed to growing the Caltex brand and reliably supplying quality fuels with Techron in Botswana.

“The Caltex star stands for quality, value, and service, symbolizing our dedication to our partners and customers,” said Danielle Lincoln, Vice President for International Products. “We are thrilled to build on Chevron’s longstanding legacy in the market and are committed to expanding the Caltex network across Botswana. Our focus remains on providing high-quality products and fuels with Techron, modern facilities, and efficient, friendly service to our customers.”

Bruce Buno, CEO of Astron Energy Botswana, said: “Astron Energy Botswana is pleased to extend our agreement with Chevron and is committed to continuing to serve our customers in Botswana through our network of Caltex service stations.”
