The Fields Mall, a retail property of CBD Fields Holdings has opened its doors to customers effective late last month.  The mall, which is located in Gaborone’s Central Building District (CBD) precinct sits on a 26 000 square meters trading space.

The Property Manager of the Mall Nazly Dawood exudes with sureness that the mall will usher a new shopping experience to its customers as it is situated in between the Gaborone bus terminal and the Gaborone CBD. Aptly tagged “share the experience”, Dawood said the mall will depicts the lifestyle of both the bus terminal daily routine of passionate entrepreneurship by the vendors and the CBD’s courteous business style respectively.

“We are excited that finally we are opening the mall on the 28th July 2022. For our grand arrival, we are bringing new retail stores that are new to Botswana market. This is to improve the shopping experience as we proud ourselves and share convenience with our customers.”

Dawood further said the mall experienced delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic where some of the labor workforce of the construction contractor tested positive and thus were laid off duty. The other factor that contributed to delay was unfavorable weather conditions. “We experienced rain when naturally we were not supposed to, however we worked tremendously hard to set the new date and we are elated to open our doors to our customers today.”

“We are going to offer a new shopping spree where every of our customers will feel a vibrant welcome and understand the lifestyle of two sets of our location. We are set in the heart of the CBD and we will beat to the rhythm of a new shopping experience”.

Among some of the retail flagship shops expected to open doors include Edgars, Woolworths, Pick & Pay, Spar, West Pack Lifestyle, Best Beds, Ackermans, Pep Home, Furnmat, Apple Store, Verimark, KFC, Cell City, D’S Damat, Stanbic Bank, Milky Lane, Dis-Chem Pharmacies, Dickies Restaurant Pit, Options, Clicks, Hisense, Mr Price, Chicken Licken, Urban Soul, The Body Shop, Steers, Debonairs Pizza, JB, John Craig. Vision Sports, Doppio Zero, Simply Asia, Health Alternatives, Hungry Lion, Tops  and Eye Express.
