Africa’s football leaders will descend in Gaborone this week from Thursday 20, June 2023 as FIFPRO Division Africa, representing the professional African footballers on the continent led by President Geremie Njitap, former Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions utility player, will organize its annual General Assembly (AGM) at the lavish Avani Gaborone Casino and Resort.
The 3 days AGM, will be attended by the organisation’s member organization from 15 countries of the continent.
Among dignitaries will include FIFPRO Global President David Aganzo, Confederation of African Football (CAF) President Dr. Patrice Motsepe, Botswana Football Association (BFA) President Maclean Letshwiti, and the Minister of Youth, Gender, Sport, and Culture Hon. Tumiso Rakgare.
FIFPRO exist to create a real status and establish labour contracts for the professional footballers as well as clear regulations on the rights and duties of the different stakeholders of professional football in Africa.
