Ten housemates are left in the Big Brother Naija house as we enter week 10. In just a few days, one of them will be named the winner of BBNaija season 10. Who will it be?

Last night’s eviction show saw three leave the house: Mide, Zita and Rooboy are no longer in the running for the impressive, historic N150-million grand prize. This means the final ten are: Dede, Faith, Imisi, Isabella, Jason Jae, Kaybobo, Kola, Koyin, Mensan and Sultana.

The first to be evicted was Mide, who described her time in the house to our fave, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu as follows: “I didn’t expect to go as far as I did – I’m so grateful. I made friends and I’m grateful for everything.” About spending the past week without Bright Morgan, who was evicted last week, she said: “It was very hard, but I had to remind myself why I was there, which is to be a housemate.”

What can audiences expect next from her? “Mide the actress – she’s coming.”

Zita’s eviction was a reminder of how quickly one’s fortunes in the house can change. Just the week before she was Head of House (HoH), before losing her temper during a heated argument with Rooboy the following week, earning her a double strike.

Now out of the house, she told Ebuka: “That was a spur of the moment, an emotion, and I’m so angry at myselfbecause that’s not me. Rooboy is a sweetheart and I’m so sorry to him.” When asked about her short-lived slump following Danboskid’s eviction, Zita said: “I came in as my own person. When he left it forced me out of my comfort zone and I just had to do me.”

What’s next for her? “I want to focus on my brand… and I’m gonna talk to my mommy and daddy.” Are you ready to see your parents, asked Ebuka? “I’m scared-oh!” came the frank answer.

When asked how he felt to have made it this far, Rooboyshowed nothing but gratitude. “I feel so good because Big Brother gave me this platform… I’m grateful to God for everything.”

Speaking about Thelma Lawson, he said: “I feel like we’ll get to know each other better outside of the house. She tried to get to know me in that small space but she didn’tknow whether I’m real or fake – but at the end of the day I’m real. This is the Rooboy you will get inside, outside, anywhere.”

Mensan was the Most Influential Player of the Week, while Sultana was HoH and the housemates won the wager for the second week in a row. About her decision not to save anyone from eviction, Sultana told Ebuka: “I was doing it tobe fair to everyone. I wasn’t sitting here as Sultana, I was sitting here as HoH and I owed my duty to my housemates.”

Closing off the show, Ebuka had some final words for the top 10: “This time next week we will be crowning the winner of the 10/10 season. You guys should be very proud of yourselves for getting to this point, but one week in Big Brother’s house is a lifetime. Things can change, so you need to make sure you keep your head up and stay focused.”

Who will walk away with the grandest prize in BBNaijahistory? That decision, dear viewers, is entirely in your hands – so vote while you can!
