The Sharks can confirm that Siya Kolisi has been granted an early release from his contract, to join French club Racing 92 after the 2023 Rugby World Cup. The Springbok captain joined the Cell C Sharks in 2021, and he has quickly become an integral member of the team. The resolution was made at a recently held Central Board meeting of the continental body in Maputo at the weekend.
