Dube Evicted and Neliswa Disqualified from Biggie’s House

Dube is the eighth housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother S6 Bazozwa house after a lovey-dovey yet tense week that saw all Bazozwa housemates being up for possible eviction.

Sunday Live Eviction Show

The Big Brother Mzansi Bazozwa Eviction Show on Sunday, 15 February was opened by the sultry sounds of Mzansi R&B artist lordkez singing her hit ‘Awe’…appropriately closing off the week of love!

Big Brother Mzansi host Smash Afrika, spotting a pink ensemble (suit) walked in with “Sisemathandweni, Re ma ratong!”, while also noting that inspite of that, all was not roses and hearts in the house! With all the bonding and love connections that reared this week Smash urged viewers to share who their favourite ships in the house are.

Bravo B was the first in the hotseat about the goings-on this week, asking him: “Ndoda, what is bothering you so much in this thing between you and Trixie?”. To which he said he felt like he was being targeted, adding: “Ya man eish, I didn’t even think I would find myself in those fights and arguments…what can I say, love dog!” Trixie trying to explain caught herself saying she has ‘love’ for Bravo B which she quickly corrected to ‘like’!

With all the housemates facing possible eviction, except Mmeli who is the Head of House (Hoh), the tension was palpable in the house when Smash had them all on their feet and announced Dube as the first one out.

In his IsiZulu accessories, Dube said he was proud of himself for how far he had come: “I’m proud to even get here, considering what happened before…I’m just glad that I walked through the doors and walked out the door, not the back door!” He was asked about his connection with Kokii? He admitted that they had a mutual attraction and with his R10k challenge win, they will go on a Kota date.

Viewers can get more tea on Dube’s whole journey in the house when he sits down with Smash on Thursday night at 19:00 for Beyond Umsindo.

All the other nominated Housemates were declared safe. However, during the live show Smash Afrika announced that a family meeting was looming and that no one would want to miss it.

Little did we know it would take place just a few minutes later. The Housemates were called to gather in the lounge, where Big Brother replayed footage from the previous night showing Didi and Que in a heated altercation.

He firmly reprimanded them, stating that physical aggression and the use of harmful language towards fellow Housemates is unacceptable in the house. Didi received two strikes for her behaviour, while Que received one.

Biggie then called on Neliswa, who had been seen punching Quewhile he lay in bed. She was immediately disqualified for putting her hands on Que during a heated argument.

The Week that was & The Wager

Week five in the Big Brother Mzansi Bazozwa house delivered some significant power shifts, romance and highly emotional blowouts.

With Mmeli as the week’s Head of House (HoH), he stepped into leadership during one of the most unpredictable weeks yet. With the nomination wheel twist on Monday that placed every single housemate at risk for eviction, Mmeli had his work cut out for him  as the leader and it also forced everyone into reflection mode.

The Wager theme for the week was for the housemates to create a Matric Dance-themed event with their own décor and they had to rehearse intensely for it. The hard work paid off with a straight win earning them a pool party celebration. But victory came with consequences.

The pool party started as a vibe but spiralled into chaos within the hour. When alcohol was taken upstairs despite a house agreement to share, tensions exploded. Didi stood firm during the confrontation, delivering the line that defined the night: “It’s not about the alcohol, it’s about the principle.”

What should have been a celebratory moment quickly exposed deeper frustrations about leadership, fairness and respect. The sponsored “Cuff It – Get to Know Ya” game only intensified emotions. Dares to kiss and uncomfortable truths triggered jealousy between Bravo B, Que and Trixie  proving once again that in this house, games  are never just that…games!

Valentine Week’s  “Cuff It” pairing twist continued to shape dynamics in Diary Sessions. Emotions ran high as housemates unpacked shifting bonds and insecurities. Thandeka openly questioned Neliswa’s growing connection with The Don, a question that lingered heavily in the house, especially after it emerged that Neliswa has a boyfriend outside.

Elsewhere, Que admitted discomfort with Bravo B’s behaviour, saying he dislikes how Bravo B jokes because the comments sometimes carry hidden meaning…something that sounded like a subtle hint at brewing rivalry. Trixie added another layer of tension when she confessed she feels drawn to Que because he gives her the emotional attention she does not get from Bravo B.

The week proved that while challenges and wins drive the action, it is the fragile relationships and the words spoken in heated moments that are truly shaping the game.

The Saturday Night Party

Last night’s Saturday Night Chillers Party became one of the most emotional nights of the week. Inspite of some incredible beats from DJ General C’mamane, the week’s tensions we not dulled by the turnup.

Bravo B opened up about his fears, admitting he believes Trixie may care more about Que than about him. Tears flowed as Trixie defended herself, insisting she had always chosen Bravo B. Meanwhile, The Don’s situation escalated after he mentioned Liemaas someone he might have pursued if Neliswa were not in the house, a comment that triggered their first truly heated clash.

Liema quickly distanced herself from the narrative, making it clear she had shown no romantic interest and did not want to be dragged into the drama. By the end of the night, reconciliations brought temporary calm, but the emotional cracks remain visible.

Don’t forget to tune in this Monday, 16 February for the new week’s Head of House challenge to see who the captain of the Big Brother Mzansi BAZOZWA house will be in Week 6.
